Classic Stationery Accessories
One of the most sophisticated desk accessories is the classic English toast rack. No paper or stationery fanatic should be caught without one in their possession! Silver toast racks are hard to find new, however. I’ve scoured the internet, and here are a few variations.
My favorite shape and style was from Source Perrier, which closed last year, so sadly, this piece is no longer available. I haven’t been able to find another (new) version with the graciousness of the lines of this one:
From Eddie Ross’ Etsy shop, this hotel silverplate version is about as classic as it comes, and a steal at only $14.
From Theresse Saint Clair, this vintage rack, although circa 1865, is modern and different, but falls into the collectible category at a price point of $265:
A collection of antique English toast racks wouldn’t be the worst thing in the world though, right? Ebay has quite a few variations to choose from.
Happy collecting!
Hey! Have you ever ventured onto the POSH {poshchicago.com} website? You might find some other variations there! xoxo

Ohhhh, I have such a weakness for english toast racks! And love the new blog, it looks great!
I love the toast rack. It would be so beautiful running down the center of a table rather than a bread basket.
