Monday Afternoon
OK, so at least I started out blogging with the best intentions. I haven’t kept up with this as well as I hoped it would. Every time I turn around, there is something else going on, something new to learn, someone saying we have to go try this restaraunt or see that show.
Last Friday we had a speaker come from InStyle. Talk about learning a ton! She was vivacious and darling and really made some excellent points that would apply to almost any business. Friday evening Aliyah and I met her friend Carol at Cipriani, had some excellent bellinis, tuna tar tar and spinach ravioli. Saturday we went to Soho, which was jumbled with a street fair. Saturday night I met my friend Libby for a movie (Once–very cute) for her birthday, and we finished off the evening with sangria and fondue at The Bourgeouis Pig in the Village.
Sunday morning we brunched at Balthazar, and had sushi last night at Butai.
To summarize, I’m exhausted almost every day. Aliyah and I made a list of restaurants we are going to try before we leave, including Peanut Butter & Co., S’mac and Le Cirque.
That’s all I’ve got for now. Ciao!
