Fraser & Parsley Brand Launch & Style Guide
Hi friends, the month of May never ceases to amaze me. As much as I try to slow it down, to savor everything it offers, it flies by. This year has been no exception. Last week I was at the National Stationery Show for the 9th consecutive year, and this week I’m dealing with a handful of what I’d call minor emergencies. Nothing scary or life threatening, but stuff that has to be done.
I didn’t want the month to end, however, without first presenting to you the first of a handful of brands that Kate Baird and I are so thrilled to launch this year. Fraser & Parsley is a bespoke stationery company, comprised of the team of one Rachel Fraser and one Josie Parsley. They are based out of both Texas AND the UK, so of course they’re my cup of tea entirely.
Every brand comes to me with some sort of framework already in place: whether it’s a color scheme or a set of values, it’s my job to unearth those details and help them pull the entire brand concept together into a beautiful and compelling little work of art. Rachel and Josie gave Kate and I some beautiful structure to work with: we started with a color scheme of warm gray and green, a theme of boxwoods and bows, lovely hand illustrations by Josie’s sister, Isobel, and the simple concept of gracious details. Emily McCarthy originated the square boxwood wreath logo concept for us, and we ran as a team from there.
If there is one thing that resonates throughout the Fraser & Parsley brand, it is undoubtedly Josie and Rachel’s passionate attention to gracious details. I was the lucky recipient of a box of goodies from the girls, and every single element on the packaging resonated with this passion.
To enjoy a little bit of that experience for yourself, head on over to the Fraser & Parsley site, and order a bit of bespoke stationery for your stationery wardrobe! I highly recommend the personalized gift tags!
Whitney (and Emily & Kate), we are indebted to your talent – the biggest THANK YOU from us to you xx
