Four Motivational Books for 2021
If you’ve followed me for any length of time, you know I LOOOVE to read. While I go in reading spurts, diving into different topics and styles, this time of year I especially love motivational and inspirational books.
Because I use the HEART Goals method, I don’t typically make strict, prescriptive yearly goals. I keep in touch with myself and my needs throughout each day, week and month to help me stay on track.
You won’t find any pendulum swing for me with big New Year’s resolutions but I do like to get some inspirational reading done. I’ve put together a shortlist of books that will empower my heart, mind, and soul (that’s the ‘E’ in my HEART Goals framework if you’re following along)!
Here are a few of the motivational books for 2021 that are at the top of my reading list!
The Power of Writing It Down by Allison Fallon
This is a book by my friend Ally Fallon and it JUST came out! I am so excited to dive into it because if you have followed me for any length of time, you know how important writing is to me. I love writing in the mornings to get my thoughts out of my head. I cannot wait to dive into this book.
The Lazy Genuis Way by Kendra Adachi
I love following Kendra on Instagram and was so excited that she released a book. I’ve heard great things about how this book has some incredible and practical applications for real life.
Everything is Figureoutable by Marie Forleo
This is one that I’ve been eying for a good chunk of time but have never actually sat down to read. I love the title and think Marie is a serious motivational wizard, so I’m excited!
Business Made Simple by Donald Miller
This book is new and I am pumped to get a little business re-boot from my friend, Don! He knows his business stuff and I’ve learned so much from him. This book has 60 daily entries and I think it’s the perfect start to 2021.
