Coffee Party
Last week we had a reason to celebrate. A HUGE reason to celebrate. Team English Paper Company shipped a bundle of albums by our targeted deadline date of July 23rd. By bundle, we actually mean gajillion. There were boxes, and binders, and samples everywhere, oh my. And not only did we need a break, but our rockstar heroine, Anna, needed to be thanked for her above-and-beyond efforts in helping us meet our goal.
That’s where our talented and lovely hostesses come in to play. (Taylor and Sarah, pictured above.) The theme was created (Anna loves coffee, and coffee makes things like albums happen), and coffee is a great reason to bring breakfast to work.
Nicole (contributor to this blog post through these incredible photos), suggested that we try out Pioneer Woman’s Make Ahead Muffin Melts. Rating: five stars.
Of course, we can’t throw an office party without throwing in a little Office humor. This quote was particularly applicable to us: “Real business is done on paper.” Well said, Michael Scott. Well said.
The exquisite table scape. Decorations consisted of white paper lanterns, and plants in coffee cups and coffee cans.
We utilized several different styles of the Hicks Popcorn Boxes to hold various mini muffins and donut holes.
Place settings boasted coffee filters, each containing a folded napkin, and a little party pennant made from a straw wrapper.
Since it was a little too early for cupcakes, the wrappers were perfect for muffins. And some crafty people in the creative department came up with the clever sayings for the muffin toppers.
What’s a party without favors? We had homemade granola, pennant flags to go (nestled in coffee beans), and favor boxes with an assortment of mini donuts and muffins for the road (I mean, to take back to our desks and eat all day).
Thanks to an amazing team for putting together not only an amazingly creative project, but a heartfelt one as well!
So adorable and fun! Can I work in your office!?
P.S. The Office quote cracked me up…love me some Michael Scott!
What a lovely excuse for a PARTAY! 🙂 Adorable theme!
Wow…lovely table setting and wonderful reason to celebrate. LOVE the checkered cake plate – McKenzie-Childs? Great job!
