First Things First

It really all does start with the invitation. I’ve made a few quick looks at cakes, bridesmaids dresses, and flowers, but just enough to pick a color scheme. Everything I bookmarked was pink. Pink!

Even if I lay claim to the title of princess in David’s life, my tastes are far too classic to start making the invitations pink.

Some lovely, classic choices I’ve come across:

Love these small plates from John Derian. I think a collection of these would be so fun! You could pull out all these for halloween–the skull and cross bones could double as a preppy motif for non-seasonal decorating.
