Recent Family Movies and a Great New Reality Find!
Do you ever have those days where the only thing that sounds good is warm pajamas and movie watching? We had one of those yesterday and everyone took advantage! We love to cuddle up with kids under warm blankets or pile everyone up in our bed to watch some classic movies when going outside doesn’t sound good. It’s a great opportunity to share some great films with your kids that they normally wouldn’t choose.
Here’s a list of our recent faves:
- Goonies So funny, kind of scary, and some inappropriate language and situations. We held off until our oldest was 13.
- Pillow Talk Truly a Doris Day classic
- The House on Haunted Hill Mildly spooky and complete with over the top screams!
- Gentlemen Prefer Blondes Jane Russell and Marilyn!
We also dove into Lego Masters Season 1.
Will Arnett hosts and he is hilarious! Our kids are Lego fanatics and they were wowed by the creativity the contestants have for the builds.

Lego Masters is FINALLY one show that everyone in our family agrees on! The builds get more and more intricate and over the top going into the following season. I hope you are enjoying it!
