What is a Weekly Prep Day?

September 13, 2020 whitneyenglish 2 Comments

It’s amazing how magical writing things down can be. Every weekend I spend 10 minutes looking at my calendar, thinking through our week, and writing out a plan for the days ahead. I call it a prep day — the day to get organized and meal plan, the day to mentally and physically prepare for the week ahead!

I created our best-selling Prep Day Notepad (part of my collection of Planning Notepads) because I needed a system for weekly prep. With three little kiddos, meals to plan, a business to run, and life to manage, I need help getting organized for the week ahead!

A few weeks ago, I shared one of my personal weekly checklists on Instagram and you all loved it! It feels SO GOOD to have a plan. Clarity is key when you’re looking for motivation!

Now you can get the prep day system inspired by this notepad as a FREE digital download! Click here to grab your prep day printable now.

Tackle your weekly preparations with a prep day checklist. The cute notepad or digital download both work perfectly as a checklist for prep day! Pick one day a week for a clean start. Run through your weekly overview, meal plan, and make your grocery list. Getting a game plan for the week will make you feel more in control and give you the clarity to jumpstart your week.

I use Sundays as a prep day by walking through each of the checklist’s prompts. You do you! The point is to write things down and figure out what works for you. Download the FREE Prep Day Checklist in our printable shop and set yourself up for a great week ahead!

What is your weekly prep day routine? Share in the comments so we can all be inspired to add a bit more intention to our weekly planning!
