It’s been a while since we last updated! In the middle of weddings, birthday celebrations, shipping out new product and new albums, markets, holidays and projects, blogging plans were set aside. But we’re trying to get back in the swing of things! So, what have we been doing? We planned the “forgotten” quarterly birthday celebration….
As you may have guessed, we love stationery. We love what it represents: the care and thought and planning put into ordering invitations, the personal touch and time taken to write a thank you note, the joy of sharing and receiving letters and cards and photographs during the holiday season. Who doesn’t love getting real…
During one of the few slow moments we had at the show, we managed to take some pictures of our new products as displayed in our booth: Following the pictures clockwise from the top left (which is like walking around our aisle-side table), you can see our coasters, our match boxes, our signature candle…
Well, it’s almost here: the National Stationery Show. It always surprises me how fast it comes around again every year, but I have to give props to the Whitney English/Hicks Paper Goods team: this year, we are prepared. Friday morning, five of us will get on a plane to head to New York City to…

Whitney! I am so proud of you and cannot wait to follow you on this journey! I was secretly hoping that you would say that you are getting into the textile business and that I will soon be able to furnish my home with your beautiful pattern designs. Oh well. I will be following along for sure and please let me know if there is any way that I can help!!! I can’t wait to hear about what your exciting new idea is!!!!
Way.To.Be. I totally admire your courage!

Love you Whitney and I love this! Mostly I love that you don’t wear makeup because neither do I. Praying for you in this next phase and journey and I can’t wait to see what’s in store!
Ok 1) you look gorgeous w/o makeup! 2) this is beautiful…I think it’s incredibly difficult to be transparent, We all wear different hats with different ppl. You are such an inspiration for taking this bold step! Look forward to seeing more. Xoxo

I loved this!! I can’t wait to hear more about what is to come! It’s always scary to put yourself out there, but you are fabulous and so inspiring, so thank you for that! 🙂
You’re so brave! I could tell that took a lot of courage. Go girl! So excited for you!
“It takes a lot of courage to show your dreams to someone else.” (Erma Bombeck)
Congratulations, Whitney! This truly is a turning point and I am eager to tag along with you for the ride. I have always believed that God gives us gifts when we need them, even if they don’t appear as such at first.
Your friend’s email is one of those gifts. And I have a hunch that you will inspire countless others to do the same, whether you know it or not.
Now … let’s do this!
Hi Whitney! I wish you a joyful and prosperous journey, let it brings you happiness. I loved the video and feel so excited to hear more on this new experience.
You are inspiring! I am so happy to get to know you.
Enjoy!
Yay! I’m excited to see what you come up with. 🙂 also glad I’m not alone on the “foggy” road of planning the future of a business!
Whitney! I love this. I found you via B-School (the stationery group) and was wondering why a seriously successful businesswoman like you would need to go through it at all! I love this video, and I LOVE your courage and constant forward motion. I aspire to achieve what you have and it’s so refreshing to hear that you’ve never stopped.
I’m so excited for you! And I will definitely be following along the entire journey! And I love your makeup-less face, your beautiful.
Liz
You.GO.Girl. Cannot wait to see what this new venture is and to see more makeup-less videos of your journey. Am starting to wonder if any of us wear make up when not required! Love you sweet pal.
Well, look at you! All full of spunk and courage and heartfelt words. I loved it!! Congrats on something I think is pretty awesome.
Can’t wait to see what all of this is about! Good luck, sweetheart!
Whitney English!!! It has been such a joy to meet you and chat with you over the last couple of days and shame on me that I never really stalked your blog before, but hearing your story meant so much and you’re such a gem 🙂 I cannot wait to dive in a bit deeper to myself and also to dive in and hear more about your journey. If I could be in Nashville next month, I SO would! However, I have no doubt we’ll meet again and hopefully we can get back to the magical conversation! I never want it to end! You rock.
I’m following along, too! I’m new to your blog, so unless you preach about being transparent and hadn’t been, who is anyone to tell you you need to more transparent?! I’m on to watch the rest of your video blogs. Thank for sharing!
Don’t worry about the makeup! You’re gorg and your brand is gorg and you should keep it up.
See ya!
Love this! Woo hoo! I will be cheering, learning from you and supporting you along this exciting journey!
Whitney. I love you. I think you are beautiful and amazing and for a million different reasons this video made me tear up. Thank you for your courage and boldness.
LOVE you.
