Announcing The Authenticate Workshop!
Do you have a dream? I think we all have a dream. Maybe you already know what your dream is, or maybe you’re still looking for it. But it’s out there. You might dream of financial security, world travel, treasured moments with families and friends, building a business, helping others, or just creating a better world. Most of the time, dreams feel unachievable, because they’re bigger than we are. But if we stop and look at the possibility, and find the courage to share that dream, it can connect us, motivate us, drive us forward. The possibility becomes opportunity, and the opportunity becomes a cause for those that share our dream. And then, the dream happens.
I have an dream. It’s a dream of a community, a network of people who value their dreams, who aren’t afraid to chase them. A network of people who aren’t afraid to answer hard questions. A community of people who are willing to dig deep, and find the courage to not only share their dreams, but are willing to do the work to make them happen. A network of people who recognize each others’ unique strengths, believe in each other, aren’t afraid to support each other, and cheer each other on. A group of people who love the idea of building something bigger than they are, whether that’s a community, a cause, or a brand.
So on Saturday, December 8th, I’m going to host a group Authenticate session in Dallas, Texas. We’re going to start at 8:00 a.m. and try to be done by 5:00 p.m. We’re going to ask hard questions, and help each other figure out this life we’re leading as creative entrepreneurs. I’d like to invite you no matter who you are where you are in your journey, to join me and a few incredible others for an inaugural run of the Authenticate workshop. (You can click that link to register).
Authenticate is a curriculum designed to help creative entrepreneurs clarify their purpose, develop their brand messaging and provide the backbone for building a sustainable business. It is ideal for entrepreneurs who do, or want to do, brand styling, coaching, mentoring, or community building. It is also great for entrepreneurs who want to self-brand, or entrepreneurs who may feel like they are struggling, and need help finding direction.
Come on, ya’ll! Let’s make extraordinary happen!
To register, go to http://authenticate.eventbrite.com. The workshop will be hosted in Dallas, but the specific location is to be determined. It will be a central location, most like a hotel. Depending on travel needs, a shuttle to and from the airport might be arranged. I picked Dallas because I love Southwest Airlines for last minute quick, easy, and inexpensive airfare. For those that have booked a private Authenticate session and want to be a part of the Authenticate community, discount registration is available. If you have any questions, feel free to contact me or leave a comment.
A final thought: I hesitated to roll this out, because I didn’t know if it was the “right time”, and frankly, I was worried what people would say. But it’s never the right time, right? And as far as what negative people want to say, let ’em talk, right? What I’m excited about is meeting other people who are passionate about building authentic brands from the ground up, and helping them find a support network in their journey.
