Camping Checklist for Kids
Today’s post is all about camping! Indoors, outdoors, mountains, or beach, camping is fun! For kids. Full disclosure: the closest I come to camping is the Four Seasons. I won’t even do glamping, sweet friends. I’m just not into bugs and dirt and sweat and potential collisions with wildlife. No siree.
Nevertheless, the trooper that is my dearest darling husband is ALWAYS up for a little time with his boys. I made this little camping checklist for them, and golly, I hope they have fun on their camping adventures this summer!
So, funny story. A year or so ago, some friends of ours were rounding everyone up to go camping in one of our local neighborhood parks. We weren’t able to join the fun because of other commitments, and when we saw our friends the next day, we asked them how the night had gone. Great, they responded—until 2:00 a.m. when the park sprinklers went off!
The moral of this story, dear readers, is this: if you are going to camp near sprinklers, make sure to turn them off.
I created a family camping checklist, and you can grab it in the shop HERE!
