There’s an old adage about doing the hardest thing first thing in the morning. This has never worked for me. In the popular book Eat That Frog! the author provides tips to stop procrastinating and get more done in less time. Far be it from me to discourage any productivity tip that works for you.
But have you stopped to ask yourself if you need to get more done?
What about doing less? What about doing what really matters instead of rushing through a to-do list in the name of efficiency? I wrote A More Beautiful Life to show you there’s a different, better approach to productivity and goal-setting.
I wrote a book! I can’t believe that sentence is real. I wrote a book and you can purchase it here.
My first book has been a long-time coming. I’ve searched most of my life for an approach to goal setting that didn’t leave me feeling miserable and deflated. We’re taught that SMART goals will save us from ourselves. And then when our goals fail, we feel like failures.
But you’re not a failure, the system is broken.
There’s a different, better approach to goal setting. There’s a better system to help you get to where you want to go. We can’t expect the wrong map to lead us in the right direction. You deserve a better map.
HEART is a framework for setting goals AND living a balanced life every single day. HEART maximizes your time, energy, talents, and resources, empowering you to achieve the things you want after your needs have been met. By dreaming better, not necessarily bigger, HEART is rooted in self-care and results in quality of life, joy, and real contentment.
I want you to create the beautiful life you were meant to have. If that means doing the hardest thing first thing in the morning, great! If it doesn’t, don’t eat that frog.
Grab my book, A More Beautiful Life, today! It’s my hope and prayer that this book and the HEART framework helps you create your own more beautiful life.
