    1. Thank you, Mary! I was writing it for research, but really ended up feeling the need to publish it immediately!

  1. I am going through a time in my life where I feel like I’m in the waiting room. And I’m enjoying it. I’ve gone through some rough times in my life, and now I’m patiently and joyfully enjoying the people I love while I wait for the next step God wants me to take. I think it’s so important to be grateful and share and just be present. I started to jot down three things every day that I’m grateful for in a journal.

I think that the media today, whether focused on celebrites, or just social media with friends can lead to thoughts of comparison, feeling like you always need to work and be on top. But I think it’s importat to take time to just be.

I could say so much more, but I won’t! This is a great post and so timely. I’m so glad you wrote it. I feel like it was for me. I’m going to share this. God is good!

  2. Excellent, meaningful post! I have seem several messages about giving and serving lately (ahem, a theme only means one thing – I need the message), and this is the best post yet. Thanks for the eloquence and tangible actions you have applied to such huge concepts, Whitney!

  3. Wow, thank you so much for this post. When you said there was someone who needed this today, you could be talking to me. I KNOW I am so blessed and God has an amazing plan for me but right now in the midst of grieving my mum and best friend, and raising four children in a blended family, I am struggling to come to terms with my new purpose. I don’t want to be negative, I know I need to get on and be joyful with all that God has blessed me with – good bad and ugly. My head and heart just aren’t connecting at the moment. So thank you again for your encouraging post.

  4. thank you so much for those four points. i see you and your incredible success and its hard to realize you have had struggles and overcame them AND you started out on your creative venture once too like me.. there was a time when you had to start. and now i have to start!!

  5. Oh my gosh, what a precious and heartful post.
Wishing you a week ( or several) of peace, patience, and the knowledge that your gifts have truly touched so many. Asking my family to cover you in prayer this week- because that’s OUR greatest gift we can give away 🙂
