I’m making pico de gallo!
In honor of Cinco de Mayo (one of my favorite reasons to drink a margarita), I’m making pico! I hopped on Instagram to share with you how I make pico de gallo! Click here to watch the video now.
Here’s my never-fail pico de gallo recipe! All measurements are approximate.
1 cup of chopped tomatoes (any kind you have on hand!)
1/2 purple onion chopped
1/2 purple onion chopped
1/2 bunch fresh cilantro chopped
1 fresh clove garlic (garlic salt is an okay substitute if you don’t have fresh garlic)
1 teaspoon French sea salt
Juice of 1 Lime
Mix all together! This recipe is best made the day before so you can let the flavors marinate! Pico de Gallo is so multi-functional. It’s a great base for guacamole, perfect to top grilled fish with or just dip your chips (or cucumbers) right in!
Happy Cinco de Mayo, friends! I hope you’re doing something fun. If you need some tunes for your celebration at home, here is the fiesta playlist we’re jamming to at our house! And make sure you’re following along with me on Instagram. I’m sharing more and more over there including recipes, how-tos, my interior design style, and behind the scenes on my life!
